FOG!

Woah - its sunny here today again (gonna be 80 degrees we hear - not bad for mid March) but on the way to work I encountered the famous San Francisco maritime fog... it was rolling down over the hills coming from Marin County (you can actually see belts of fog / clouds spilling down the hillside in a localised "river") and onto the Golden Gate bridge. I found this picture online - its not a shot from my travel to work but its basically exactly what the bridge looked like this morning. Visibility down to about 50 yards and a constant fog horn sounding... very eerie!

Summer is here! London calling...

So for some weird reason, America decided to change the date that they "spring forward" their clocks so that happened this past weekend. So now the GMT-8 hrs is GMT-7 hrs. Talk about confusing!

Its been real hot here this weekend too, really beautiful weather approaching 80 degrees and very sunny. So this is what California looks like!

But better than all that stuff - this Friday we head to the UK shores for 2 weeks of drinking, partying, more drinking, gigs, real Indian food, pot noodles, fish & chips and general merriment. Expect lots of photo updates in a few weeks once we return. Its been a very long time since we were in the UK so we plan on making the most of it.

Mind you, the afore mentioned time zone change probably will add much confusion to the travel arrangements...

It looks like I'll get chance to catch up with a bunch of old friends from back in the UK while I'm in London too, hopefully we'll get to spend some time in the all new Intrpid Fox (best pub in London) so I'll have a groovy drinking weekend (and St Patricks night too, coincidently) with some great friends, and I'll even take in a couple of gigs while I'm there. I sense a very fun few weeks ahead.....

Quake 2

Another earthquake last night - easily felt that one! Theres been a bunch since we arrived but this is only the second that was real obvious. Nothing much though, kind feels like someone is pulling the sofa around with you on it.
