Time for a ball game

Last week I caught up with my friend Steve, a programmer who used to work with us but is now down in Silicon Valley working on Tomb Raider. He's a huge Giants fan (baseball) and as I wanted to take in some games, we got together for a night match against the NY Mets. GREAT night out! I took the ferry from Larkspur which is quite close to our house - they run ferries for all Giants home games - which was prety cool! It takes you literally TO the stadium... I mean, to the actual entrance gate as the stadium is built on the waterfront! I got some great snaps as you can see, and had a beer on board too. All in all a great way to go to a game. I even saw Barry Bonds hit home run number 745, which was a highlight of the game really as the Giants lost pretty badly :( The ferry goes right along the waterfront facing downtown SF and you get a nice view of the Golden gate as well as Alcatraz, but an ever better virew of the bay bridge and downtown at sunset!

I hope to catch up with Steve again, and hopefully both families can hook up for a game or a meal out... he's a great guy.
