Day trip continued...
And after the GGB we went to the small (exclusive!) seaside town of Sausalito, one of the places we almost moved to when first looking for houses. Its a very "posh" part of the bay area, and also very beautiful. Theres a lot of restaurants, a lot of coffee places, and a shed-load of art galleries and fancy-schmancy boutiquey places. Right up our alley! :) Anyway, it was nice for a visit and very relaxing having a coffe (and ice cream for some of the family!) by the water. You can get a ferry from here right into the heart of downtown SF. There was a spring fair on while we were there - kids games and activities - I stood in line to get tickets for quite some time so K could go on the "bouncy castle", after making her promise if I lined up she would indeed go on it. Needless to say - you guessed it - she was too scared and refused point blank. What a lass!!!!!
